I use a Wacom Bamboo Pen ($60). I actually used a mouse for my previous work on deviantart, but then I got the tablet as a gift.

I definitely recommend this tablet! You should try it out. It’ll be quite hard to adapt at first, but after a day of using it, you’ll love it :) Its the same process ^^~ Make sure when you purchase a tablet that you check their reviews! :)

I use Photoshop CS5.
